aargh. i typed this really long entry jus now. to my dismay, something crazy happened to my wireless link at home n then, suddenly i cant connect anymore n had to restart. damn. i havent bloggged for a long long time n i have get my entry deleted? :( oh well, nvm then. i m too lazy. here's the photo i took for photojourn that is so cute! the focus is a little off. but i am not complaining! haha. so sad! i really wrote so many things j

The week closed with a BLAST.

Phew! the weekend is here. finally. this week had been very good. despite the dreadful Monday, which was later diagnosed as a disgusting syndrome known as the Monday blues. I realised its not just me. many CS year 3s are feeling WEIRD deep inside. is "weird" the word? i dont know. its this hybrid. a hybrid of loss and sub-conscious stress, and perhaps some say,"not being in control". i totally agree. Year 3 is like a whole new level of uni life. yes. shed away the fun. the competition is stiffer, the stress level is higher, and less time for everything else. Welcome to year 3.

as for me, i am still getting used to it. it takes time. but i must say that the days got better after Monday. Tues was great. i had time to go jogging with Jingyi which of course helped improve my mood by a whole notch. i had time to do many things, and i love it. i enjoy the luxury of time. the time for some personal space, the time to do what i want to.

Wed was THE DAY. Yoohoo! we had CS homecoming which was a huge success. there were many small stalls set up in school, and naturally, me and Hsu's pocket money kinda vanished there. We bought some accessories which are really nice! at night, which is the highlight of Wed, we had dinner at the CS rooftop. the crowd was good. i love nothing better than being able to gather with the people from CS. they are a really fun bunch of confidantes, albeit a little rowdy. THese people definitely made my school days much more memorable. thanks darlings. and the performance was good. there were 4 bands. and of course, Colin's band, KingKong Jane, never fail to impress. They started off with an energetic number by Franz Fredinand, which got everyone grooving. we were all dancing and jumping and screaming and singing. it was crazy. we screamed so much that we had no voice after the performance. yah, i repeat the word "crazy". that night, i felt the whole usual CS liveliness reemerging again. the feeling was one of excitement, happiness and a tremendous bout of resminiscence. i was very touched by the scene that unfolded before me. everything may change-the workload, the stresss, the competition-but no, this CS spirit always remains. the bonding between us. i felt it come alive again. i saw Colin leading the crowd, and yes, the crowd was WILD. it was simply memorable. not to mention some editors who were drunk and high. haha. :)

Well, its finally friday. i just did an interview and going to start on my article tonight. i am going to Arab Street tml! yay! and it just occured to me that i can bring along my camera to take photos for my photojourn. played with the camera yest. the photos i took are normal. nothing i like. mmm.. i showed kevin's website to wk yest. and he agrees that kevin takes VERY GOOD photos. i am impressed by Kevin seriously. i think that the yr 4 batch which just graaduated is a whole lot of talented bunch. Kevin's photos were really good! I want to learn man. THis senior is really someone i look up to with lots and lots of admiration.

Second week of school somehow feels wierd.

today is monday. first day of second week. but somehow, i feel shaggified. like lotsa things went on today n there were so many lessons today. i dunno. i just feel super duper tired today. well, the fact that colin is back does make school a little more enjoyable. we all miss u colin! :)

mmm. then i had free tickets to watch a movie. to do a movie review for Chron. my god. the movie is damn crap!! 5 mins into the film, and i was like oh my, i cant believe theres still another one hr n 59mins. its super duper lame!! i am so tired after i came back to hall that i dint do anything much except talk with the gals and finished up my french hwk. oh! french is FUN. very very enjoyable. french level 2 is so much better than level 1! think cus the teacher is really nice. hahah. but basically, the movie is very bad. but i am not gonna condemn it. at least give it some tiny credits for the efforts put in. gonna write it over the weekend. this week is so busy! have lotsa things to do. aargh.

i find myself in a dilemma wheneve i go to sch nowadays. i dunno y. its like i look forward to school cus i can see all my lovely frens but whenever i go to class, i just dunt listen at all. i keep talking to Hsu and gang, if not, i am daydreaming about ice creams and chocolates. hai. i used to be very excited about class. i ll always feel really happy when the teacher talks about the syllabus on the first day of class. u noe, that kinda anticipation of learning lotsa things in class? i cant feel that ANYMORE. i enter each class and leave each class, feeling like i havent learnt anything much. aargh. i really really dunno what this kinda feeling is all about. its like a huge mixture of loss, stress and insecurity mixed into one. :(

alright, i comforted myself jus now that sch jus started, and i need some getting used to. i hope thats the case man. just that i havent found a class that i can have total confidence in the professor to impart his/her skills to us this sem. and it worries me. mmmm.. ok, i shall stop worrying. it makes me feel really SICK.

and i am running out of money! staying in hall n buying notes n tbks are damn xiong. hai. ok, i am in one of those i feel lousy mood again. and its only monday.

First week of school-Over.

Alrgiht, and first week of sch just came n went. Without making too much of a difference to me. But, i am starting to feel stressed. thinking of internship. my god.. feels scary just thinking about it. well, lets just embrace life as it comes, shall we?

went for sakae buffet with XX and the gals on thurs. We had a great time!! despite the poor service from Wheelock Sakae. everyone, pls dun ever go there anymore ok? the service SUCKS big time. we waited one and a half hr for our chawamushi. and there were no salmon sushi as they CLAIMED that they have ran out of it. what the. after a while, they also conveniently ran out of gyoza. damn pissed. luckily, had a greatime with the gals n XX. we spent a long time talking about our future, our career, our internship, etc. and we were rather worried n a lil stressed sia. i am damn stressed, i admit. hahaha. but well, i have learnt to take whatever comes my way in my stride.

Fri, the guy smsed me again n asked me to do anothr assignment for him for a small sum of money. i rejected at 1st cus i just wana slack the weekend away, but well, he offered me a longer deadline, n i thought, y not? jsut do an assignment n earn some money ba. but well,as said, i ve planned to slack my weekend away, so i havent gotten to doing it. gonna do it tml. rather good money. yay!

went out with wk today. but wasnt exactly good. we cancelled our hiking cus we were both too lazy. so we decided to go town. but we both dint realy feel like shopping. mainly cus we both have too many clothes, and i dinr feel like buying anymore clothes. well, i bought one present for wk's bday. its damn exp sia. but well, its really nice. hope he likes it :) then me n wk had some squabble here n there, cus we dint feel like shopping anymore n we dint noe what we wanted to do. it was like walking ard aimlesssly. i just hate it lah, after u come back fm bangkok, every thing in SG is sooooooooo damn exp. wana buy a dress also needa fork out $50. 5 times that in bangkok, and the desing n quality is the same. they simply import fm bangkok n hike up the price! thats y now i dun even feel like shopping in singapore. :( and that kind of feeling sucks cus we were outside, and we dint wana go home, and we ditn noe wat to do n where to go. wanted to go bar, but thinking about all the alcohol i have at home, i found it meaningless to go bar n spend on a drink 10 times the cost price when i already have the exact drink at home. RIGHT? yup, basically, we just wondered ard aimlessly n after a while, we decided to go home. hahaha. first time gping home at 10pm. on a saturday night. WIERD. but well, i dun mind. i kinda like this feeling of saving up on unnecessary hiked up pricey stuff. i am never gonna spend such money again!!

i bidded for quite a few items at one go online jus now. cus they r cheap n good! hehe. bought this very pretty rocket tee shirt. very lovely. hope to get it soon. and bidded for 2 red wine masks. one sheet, and one bottle. very excited to try them out!! yay! i have been buying lotsa stuff online lately but i am rather happy. cus i cant find these items outside man. well, back to the benefits of buying things online. hahaha. cant wait to try out the masks!! yippee!

yay, tml i m gonna move into hall with the gals! hehe. i wonder how our hall life is gonna be like. hope there ll be no conflicts whatso ever! and i m doing the assignment tml to earn some small bucks. yup! and of cus, read the papers! no matter if i ve the time anot sia. must read!! i am so used to watching news that i haven ot read the papers in a while. hai. as i said, broacast journ rocks my world. love it. :)

Starting school with a BLAST!! YOOHOO!

alright! school started on mon! it was lovely. seeing everyone again. the feeling is kinda undescribable, i feel. it was like one huge huge school gathering. woah! everyone was like asking everyone else,"Hi! How have you been?" that was voted the most common qn of the day. hahaha. everyone had lotsa changes too. esp the guys! wow, our guys are looking better. :) CS is really like a fashion parade! everyone was decked in such lovely clothes on the first day of sch. i wore a dress and initially i was afraid it ll be a lil OTT. well, as expected, everyone wore damn nice too. really nice checking everyone else out. too bad our dearest colin wasnt there. :( ok, back to the guys and their changes. Junkit has permed hair!! thats so erm, i dont noe how to describe. but he really looks good with permed hair. much better than all the previous hairstyles. PK has dreadlocks. stylo mylo! Swee Kang has long wavy hair. mmm. looks fine lah. normal. Jay looks like he is born and bred in Aussie now!! haha. after the 6mths stay there. He appears to me as an Aussie-born-chinese. yah, and the girls are all decked in very pretty clothes. lovely. :)

alright, school was fun on the 1st day. relaxing and heartwarming just seeing everyone. however, on the 2nd day, i skipped sch. oops. cus i was rushing for the assignments for the guy who is paying me. and i wanted to finish it by tues. so i skipped class on tues, well it is only one class. but i feel damn sian, 2nd day skip class!! i am glad its finally over!! Then i went to sch to register for something to find that the stall has closed. ok, nvm about that. most impt thing is i went shopping!! hehe. with Qiao. bought 2 very nice nail polish n nail stickers.

i did a manicure for myself today. i think its really nice, albeit lotsa imperfections. heh. i think all these nail stickers rock! i mean, they are so cheap, and they can make your nails so nice. i seriously dun bother going for a manicure. well, unless i am yearning for a pamper treat or something. i bought a CD too! Yellowcards-lights and sounds. yippee! i have always wanted this CD but dint bother buying. its like all the $$ goes to clothes and food. i am glad i finally bought it! yay!

These few days had been so fun. for me, the best part is buying the nail polish n stickers cus they really make my nails very pretty!! hahaha. and they dont cost much. which is the best part. i am kinda obsesses with pretty nails these days. planning to buy more of these little nail things! hehe.

yay. tml go for 301 and then we are off to Sakae!! the usual clique. i love you gals!! of cus, not forgetting XX. hahaa. gonna meet Bok babe on Friday and then off to hiking on sat with baby!! we have been postponing the hike trip for so long already. cant wait for it. and sun, i m moving in with Hsu n Shunyi! yay! hehe. this week had been amazing. let it stay this way please. :)

Busy ah!

HEy! its been a busy busy week. i received a huge project to do for quite alot of money. So i accepted it. at first, i thought i only needa write 2 papers. and i tot it was easy money! then, i realised that i had to do 5 assignments. and there are alot of things to do. i only managed to finish writing one paper after 3 days of hard work. n i feel that my argument towards the end was a little weak. so wanted to keep changing. oh man. the question is "Do US media flows into Singapore threaten the government's national identity?" well, my argument is a BIG YES. but somehow, as i get to the middle part about the uses and gratification theory, i felt that the argument was not so strong anymore. :( well, i m just glad that one project down. 4 more to go. hai. last week of hols still need to work so hard. like what hsu said, "think of the $$".

wnet clubbing yest. wasnt very fun. mmm. had a small conflict with my very good fren, D. saw sindy there! all of us were frigging high. hehe. look at me n Sindy, just outside Zouk.

me and D took some pictures too! but i havent got them fm her. after yest, i think i m not going clubbing in a while. but wait, Sindy just said lets go next week. and i said ok. wahahaa!!

initially i had the b4 sch jitters. was afraid and uncomfortable n insecure. i wonder if its PMS or jitters. wahaha. well, then i was talking to Hsu n we talked about alot alot of things! so nice talking to her. i am so happy Hsu is back!! YAY! Sushi buffet again! haha. after talking to her,i felt so much better. yeah, i m gonna take one step at a time. dun kan cheong too much. but thinking about the projects n things like that just make me feel nervous. i need to constantly encourage myself by thinking of last sem's results. yay, i can do it! dun kan cheong.

alright, my current priority is to finish the projects. hope can finish by next thurs. or wed. b4 clubbing. yippee! anyway, went to watch my fav johnny depp in action last fri with brownie. i wore a lovely dress! first time wearing, so was very excited.

love my johnny depp very very much. how i wish i m Vanessa Paradis. *Envious* love my brownie better. D told me yest night that baby is really sweet to me n i needa treasure him. yes, i will. love u wk! :)
