Somehow, this yr, i dont get as excited about the world cup as the last one 4 yrs back. mayb its bcause there are other things bugging me like stupid projects and money problems! well, but i still gotta say that i have been watching some of the matches, esp those with my favourite Brazil and Argentina. Ronaldinho rocks my world! if only i can interview him one day. oh man. thats gonna be my dream. and i promise i ll fulfil it one day! gonna make full use of my journalistic skills. haha. Ronaldinho, here i come!! Love you! anyway, i jus discovered that he is 180 cm tall and 80kg. he certainly doesnt look that tall and big. somehow. well, i dont really care. as long as he continues to play well, he ll always be the best soccer player in my heart. Ronaldinho, i love you! :) somehow, Zidane has failed to impress in this world cup. watched him play against switzerland. he was good, yes. but france's teamwork jus isnt good enuff. i vividly rem zidane quarrelling with his team mate while on the field. mmm. no good no good.
England. another of my favourite. havent really caught them in action yet. cus everytime they play, i m working. and cant really stop to watch. jus rem that the only goal they scored against some country was an own goal. erm. not very impressive. Go England! i love you guys! anyway they are playing later at 3am. and im so excited to watch them play! cant wait. one of the few times when i can watch soccer in the comfort of my own house rather than sneaking into a dark corner of Bungee's and trying to watch. i practically hid in a corner thruout the whole of Brazil's match against Aussie cus i badly wanted to watch it!
Yah, i think Germany plays well too. though i dont support them. kinda disappointed that they changed the goalkeeper! i mean, i really liked the old one. what was his name? wolfgang? whatever. just kinda sad. but my dad says this new one is much better. mmm. lets watch n see. saw him in action jus now. not bad. He was quite flexible.
alrighty, Japan put up some disappointing shows. dont think they can make it into top 16 which is really sad. and Korea isnt any better. kinda disappointed. i tot Korea played much better than Japan but they lost to France, which weakens their chance of getting in.
Well, life's a bitch isnt it? u cant get ur way all the time. fight hard for ur goals and ur dreams! i really hope brazil ll get champs again this yr, with Argetina or England coming in 2nd. way to go dudes! i make it my goal to interview you guys next time when i m in the industry! Soccer watching kinda rocks my world. even when i am broke and feel like i cant survive sans money. mmm. it must be the handsome dudes with their amazing dribbling skills. :)
