Registering for GEs today- Disastrous!
Alright, so i woke up damn early today, at 1130am to register for my GEs. Kinda anxious cus for CS subjects, there is no waiting list. it is based on first come first served. So i heard that Shimin n Colin are taking 318-an editing class n i decided to take it as a GE as well. since it is a rather useful class and they are taking it as well. but when the time came for registration, i couldnt take it at all! cus my photojourn class (313) clashes with 318. being the "intelligent" me, i saw that there was an option in STARS which allowed u to drop subjects. Thus, i happily went to drop 313 tut 2 as a Prescribed, thinking that i can add it back,but this time, as 313 tut 1. This will fulfil my wish of taking 318, n at the same time i can take 313 tut 1 as a prescribed. and u noe what, after dropping 313 tut 2, i couldnt add 313 tut 1 as a PE!! cus today is registration for general electives only, and i cant add PE today.
that got me really anxious.cus photojourn is such a popular class n i ve one PE less. In order to keep calm, i went to add 318 as a GE first as the vacancies are dwindling by the minute. initially, there were 5 vacancies.by the time i added it, there were only 3 left. after which, i looked at 313 tut 1 slots n realised there were only 2 slots left! i was so nervous n scared cus i tot i might jus end up with no photojourn to take n may have to take stupid statistics class? omg. So, being the "intelligent" me again, i went to add 313 tut 1 as a GE!! Cus i wanted to secure the slots first. I think Colin n Shimin both tot i was mad when i told them i added it as a GE. haha. in the end, i had 2 PEs, and 4 GEs!! which was absolutely ridiculous. So i called Miss Susan Lai, and asked for her help. and she kindly helped me change my 313 fm a GE to a PE. oh my. it was just ridiculous! i have never had such a dramatic experience registering for subjects before! mmm.. THanks to Moon anyway, for providing me with Miss Susan's number. haha. THanks alot!
Anyway i was reading moon's blog n saw some funny comments by the football commentators. hilarious. i remember one too. this commentator was saying:" Its really sad that Zidane is bald at such a young age. such a poor chap." and i was like, "hello! you are supposed to be talking about the match! why are you talking about the captain's hair?" its just wierd. sometimes i really wonder what is going thru their heads at the moment. but its pretty funny n entertaining. haha.
alright, thats it for now. needa get ready for work. i have a looooooong night ahead. gonna work for cati then bar. wow. gonna be tired. See u!
