It's all hidden.

Skipped class yesterday for it is getting more and more of a torture for me. There are lots of things to do within a short period of time and i am getting really stressed up and fed up. Alright, lets skip the annoying topic of school.
I went to watch Da Vinci Code with K yest late at night. He hasnt read the book yet while i had. I felt the movie was pretty good! i wonder why many critics give it such bad comments. The screenplay carefully weaved in the facts using flashbacks and dialogues. For a moment, i thought they might explain everything using long and tedious dialogues. thank goodness. the flashbacks were clear, making it easy for audience who have not read the book before to understand. K understood the movie well, and he felt that everything flowed neatly and cohesively. However, if i am not mistaken, i think there is a part which was interpeted differently in the movie as compared to the book. i dont know if it is the movie, or is it that i forgot the contents of the book, given that i read it quite long ago. mmm..
Tom Hanks acting is as usual, very good. Tom Hanks never fails to make every character come alive, acting out the role as if it was meant for him. He can make any character's emotions stand out, which makes me really admire him. how i wish i get to conduct an interview with him one day. *(well, daydream on!)* And audrey is so pretty! Her acting is fantastic too. i have only seen her act in Amelie before and i think this role is so different from that in Amelie! But she brought out the role well. She is totally the ideal Sophie Neveau. My impression of Sophie when i read the book is exactly the same as that potrayed in the movie. and i thought it was a job well done, by the director and of cus, Audrey herself.
Alright, i ll update about the 5 different bars when i am in the mood. Thats Da Vinci Code for you now. :)

I have decided to start a brand new blog after i discovered that my professors have been readng my old blog. As i tend to blurt my feelings out in black and white, i think it will be safer for me to go undercover with this new image, and of course, new identity.
I am really into lightning bolts and that explains the name of my blog, "Get an Electric Shock". i will post my entries regularly in the days to come, so sit back and be prepared to be struck by me!

Well, to start off my first entry, i will like to introduce my favourite topic of all times- Online Shopping. Shopping on the net rocks. You dont need to jostle with the crowd, nor do you need to make up your mind immediately. If you shop on auctions site, there is also room for unsightful, and unglamorous haggling of prices. Usually, the sellers are really nice and they offer a little tiny bit of discount. but that's good enough for me i guess. online shopping also allows you to get exclusive items! people often ask, where do you get your stuff? i say, "as usual, online." They laugh. Well, cause i am an online shopping addict and my friends cant stand the idea of staring at the computer screen for hours, scrolling through a million items before they find the things they like.

For me, shopping in the comfort of your own home is probably the best thing that can ever happen! I mean, what else can beat the aircon, the comfortable chair and simply a tiny laptop? and you can shop anywhere, anytime. I especially love it when we have classes in the computer labs. 80% of the time, i am shopping online, rather than listening to my lecturers. well, you cant blame me. As i had mentioned, i am ADDICTED!!

I sell stuff online too. but recently, my stuff isnt very popular with the shoppers. :( that is pretty sad. think i need to go shopping for goodies overseas again! the items i got fm overseas are usually popular with the shoppers. Now that they are all sold, and the rest are pretty stale items, i better do something about it. mmm..

Well, so much for my online shopping endeavours. I need to stop somewhere i guess. :) Anyway, i am dropping by 5 really cool bars this friday for a magazine article i am working on right now. I cant wait! will update everyone about the 5 bars! I have been readin up about them recently, and they all have rather positive comments so i hope i wont be disappointed.
